We  believe siblings and youth deserve to be seen, remembered, and lifted  up. Each year, the Sgt. 2Step Foundation presents scholarships and  awards to families of the fallen and young people overcoming hardship.

How to Apply:

• Scholarship Applicants: Write an essay of 500–1,000 words about your story, journey, or what remembrance means to you.
• Award Nominations: Submit a written nomination describing the person, their service, and why they should be recognized.
• Submission:  Email your essay or nomination to Sgt2StepFoundation@gmail.com with the  subject line Scholarship Application or Award Nomination.

Additionally, stories, songs, or special media can be submitted through 2StepTribe.com to be shared as part of our living legacy.

• Writing and music camps for healing through creative expression 
• Ceremonies & Honor Runs – Community events that unite people in remembrance and tribute.
• Special Songwriting Sessions – Writing original songs for loved ones who are no longer here, or for those who deserve recognition.
• Music Lessons & Writing Programs – Helping siblings, children, and survivors express themselves through music and writing.
• Therapeutic Partnerships – Working with professionals to integrate music and creativity into healing.
• Music + Mission Events – Festivals, concerts, retreats, and tributes that combine remembrance, entertainment, and unity.

 Who are retreats for?

Our retreats and resilience gatherings serve families of the  fallen, veterans, first responders, humanitarians, and community-driven  leaders. They’re intergenerational—designed to support everyone from  youth to elders.

• Mentorship & Resources – Trade, artistry, and life-skill resources to guide survivors and youth toward stronger futures.
• Awareness Campaigns – Grief, trauma, and suicide prevention outreach, including honoring Tracy’s own brother who was lost to suicide.
• Family & Community Care Kits – Providing comfort and essentials during times of need.
• Holiday Kits – Ensuring families feel remembered during difficult seasons.
•  Veteran, First Responder & Humanitarian Support – Extending recognition and resources to those who sacrifice for others.
• Personalized Songwriting & Storytelling – Our media team at http://2StepTribe.com can create a personalized song or tell your family’s story through music and media. This service is available to all who fall under our mission — families of the fallen, veterans, first responders, and community heroes. Inquire about having our team write your personal song or produce your story to preserve and honor your legacy. 

We  hold Live community events and education programs. This creates a sense of community and enrichment.

Each year, we present the Sgt. 2Step Award to honor individuals who embody resilience, service, and compassion. This award recognizes community leaders, humanitarians, veterans, first responders, survivors, or artists who are making the world better.

This award is given across multiple genres — music, sports,  education, community development, and the arts — wherever people are  lifting others up, fostering growth, and bringing us back to the true  roots of community.

• Why they deserve the award

• Their contributions in music, education, sports, or community development
